Abstract

Abstract

Conflict is an integral part of social life that arises from differences in interests, values, and objectives. From a legal perspective, conflict requires fair and effective resolution mechanisms. Therefore, selecting appropriate methods of conflict resolution is essential to achieve justice, legal certainty, and harmonious relations among the parties. This study aims to examine conflict resolution methods through non-litigation, litigation, and the use of force. The research employs a qualitative approach with a library study, analyzing books, academic journals, and statutory regulations. The findings indicate that non-litigation resolution is more efficient and deliberative in nature, litigation provides legal certainty through binding court decisions, while resolution through force is only justified in a limited manner under international law. Therefore, peaceful conflict resolution remains the most ideal and sustainable approach.
